In Maryland on June 17th, state government workers and public school teachers rallied to celebrate the 85% divestment of Israeli bonds by the MD State Retirement and Pensions System (MSRPS) and delivered over 1,000 postcards from Break the Bonds Maryland demanding the MSRPS divest the remaining $11 million it continues to hold.

In Virginia, the VRS Divest from Weapons & War campaign is organizing to divest the Virginia Retirement System from Israel’s genocide on the Palestinian people. Join them on July 11th from 1-4pm for a community meeting!
