Hundreds of us showed up in the streets of DC amidst severe weather to say that war criminals aren’t welcome here, and should not be welcome anywhere besides the Hague. Netanyahu has been at the helm of the government carrying out a genocide for almost 3 years now, and is wanted by the ICC for war crimes and crimes against humanity. While Israel and the US continue to collude to decimate lives and land across the region, we demand a total arms embargo on Israel immediately, and that all war criminals leave our city and be held accountable for their crimes.
May Day 2026
JVP DC Metro marched alongside Free DC, organized labor, racial justice, immigrant justice, climate justice, faith groups, and many others to commemorate May Day and to demand: POWER TO THE WORKERS! NO ICE, NO WAR, FREE PALESTINE. We will not allow the Trump regime and its billionaire allies to decimate our workforce, terrorize our communities, and gut social services while raining bombs down on our siblings in Palestine, Iran, and Lebanon. Now is the time to become even more organized so we can continue to build the collective power we need to strengthen our communities and fight back—to end fascism and imperialism at home, and abroad.
